Renovation Church was planted by The Rescue Church in October of 2017 under the leadership of Tyler and Ashley Ramsbey. The church was originally a campus of The Rescue Church. In three years, the church grew from a few people to over 70 people that consider the church their home.

As the Garretson campus continued to grow in attendance and finances, the decision was made to transition the Garretson campus to it’s own church under a new name: Renovation Church. This was done through the support, mentoring, and leadership of The Rescue Church. Renovation Church officially started on Sunday, October 15th 2017.

Renovation Church is a group of imperfect people seeking a Perfect Savior. We exist to know Jesus and make Him known in our church, families, workplaces, and communities.

During COVID, Renovation Church met online on Sundays in Garretson. After COVID, our full time pastor left, we hired a part time pastor for awhile, and then cut back to meeting only on Wednesdays for Bible Study. These days, we are generally a small group from Brandon, Garretson, Sherman and the surrounding farm community. God has been with us for our ups and downs, and we celebrate the times we spend together in followship and celebration. We share a vision to impact our community. We study the Bible together with handouts and “homework assignments” and Bible study. Since 2024, we have also included 30 minute recorded “sermons” from Les Feldick.
